Overview
Heather has been in a coma for twelve years, and while her husband, Matthew, believes that Heather should have her life support terminated, her mother fights to have Heather live, believing she can still communicate with her daughter. The Crib is told from the voice of the ostensibly voiceless character of Heather, who shapes the play from her unique perspective, blurring the lines between real and imagined, reality and surreality. The Crib is a gripping one-act drama that weaves in and out of different times, fantasies, and experiences, exploring ideas of regret, family, and maturation in an imaginative setting.
