Summary
Mrs Turner is somewhat intimidated by her truculent charwoman, Mrs Knight, who advises her against regaling her little grandson with such bloodthirsty tales as Bluebeard. In a dream, Mrs Turner is visited by Mrs Knight, who has become Bluebeard and acts in character. Mrs Turner retains her own individuality and assumes that someone in fancy dress has come to the wrong flat. Her daughter, now in Oriental costume plays the part of Sister Ann. The drama develops on the well-known lines, taken humorously, but Mrs Turner escapes from Bluebeard's scimitar by awakening. She begs Ann not to tell Mrs Knight.
