Additional Info

Joe Powell drowned in a Welsh pond and his 'spirit' sits and looks down on the banks of the pond as he gets used to eternity. A variety of visitors come to the pond but Joe is unable to communicate with them. When his bofy is discovered and his wife notified it is clear that his passing leaves her untouched. The last visitor to the pond is Ruth, who is not local and can see and hear Joe unlike the others. She helps Joe at last to understand his past regrets and have a tempered hope for his future.
