Tragic Nesta

With Baron Newmarch dead only three months, Mabel takes great offence at his mother's constant attention to Sir Brian, Rhys the Welsh Knight challenges challenges Sir Brian in a firendly bout, but in his father's anger kills him. On returning to the castle Brian learns that the knight was his father, whom Nesta had secretly married on the eve of the latter's departure for the Holy Land on a Crusade. She had thought never to see him again and had later married Baron Newmarch.
