Summary

Just after the Boston Tea Party, several Torries were sent to the colonies to quell any revolutionaries. One such Tory, Paris, arrives at the inn of Helen, demanding quarters. But it's Paris who offers her kindness that her husband Alexander, a strong-willed American. When Paris and Helen become a little too close and Paris begins influencing her son, Alexander decides it be best to mold his son in his image and take him away from Helen.

History

Atlas's Equal premiered at James Martin High School under the direction of J'Mia Barrow. The play was subsequently produced at the Thespian Festival in Lincoln, NE in June 2015 under the direction of Elise Kauzlaric.
