- Setting: Early January in the off season at Sea Hags, a rustic bed and breakfast/café in desperate need of repair, somewhere at the New Jersey seashore.
FLOYD - (mid 50s-early 60s) A breakfast patron of Sea Hags.
OCEANA - (late 40s/early 50s) Coral’s sister and co-owner of Sea Hags. She’s also a broken hearted former mermaid.
MARINA - (late 40s/early 50s) Coral and Oceana’s hoity-toity former mermaid cousin. That is, until the Captain dumps her when the treasure runs out!
SHEILA - (40s/50s) The town Police Chief, Dog Catcher, L&I Inspector, Public Works Commissioner, and Justice of the Peace.
PEARL - (early 20s) The new “maid” in town. She doesn’t say much. She’s a buck-naked knockout!
NATHAN - (mid 20s/early 30s) A handsome young Coast Guard Lieutenant who should have had two hands on the wheel when driving over a bridge!
