Four passengers enter the lounge area of Phoenix Airlines in JFK International Airport. As they wait for their flight to New London, Connecticut, they discuss their attitudes on flying. Two are afraid to fly, and two are not. Then, onboard the airplane, the passengers are aware that there is something mysterious about the flight. They discover that they all died together in a plane crash five years ago, and have been repeating this flight every year for the past five years on the anniversary of the crash. They then find out that they are all on their way to Hell, and will continue to repeat this flight, along with the plane crash, once a year until they are able to discover and admit why they were sent to Hell instead of Heaven.
