Summary
Patrick Marber's updating of Molière's Don Juan has transposed the action to today's London where this modern-day wastrel is let loose among the fleshpots of Soho. DJ is an utter cad, an aristocrat who will bed anything female and attractive without a thought for the consequences. In a demotic script full of foul language and irresistible filthy jokes Marber uses the character to lay into the idiocies of our age, notably our obsession with celebrity.
