Overview

The scene is a men's hospital ward. Against a beautifully detailed documentary background the author juxtaposes scenes of rich satire, in which the hospital staff become the highly romanticised characters of a television hospital series. The author's commen's on the joys and pains of living and his observations on'society are juggled with breath-taking dexterity.
