This play was wonderfully detailed and exact about the personalities and issues that makes tech week . . . tech week.  To be honest, in reading it I wondered how much of the dialogue or situations is too insidery to play to a general audience, but I thought the play was hilarious and I recognized the characters immediately. The technical detail of having the audience wear headphones, as they did in the NYC production, would be too expensive for most college or community productions but I think in a small theatre space, you could find interesting ways to get around that concept and make the show your own.
