Overview

A fascinating and unconventional memoir from James Roose-Evans, British theatre director, priest, and writer on experimental theatreritual and meditation. In 1959 he founded the Hampstead Theatre Club, in London; in 1974 the Bleddfa Centre for the Creative Spirit, in mid-Wales; and in 2015 Frontier Theatre Productions. He is best known for adapting and directing the plays 84 Charing Cross Road and Cider With Rosie (both published by Samuel French), and the influential survey Experimental Theatre: From Stanislavsky to Peter Brook.
