Overview

Liverpool, 1989. Greg is thirteen. Living with his dad on a council estate, he has just started secondary school and he earns pocket money sweeping up hair in a barbers. Liverpool FC are everything, and on his birthday he defies his dad to go to see the match at the Hillsborough stadium. Bottleneck is a vibrant coming-of-age story about coming a man through adventures both big and small, and about the city of Liverpool.
