UK postage and packing rates are calculated by weight, and international orders by a combination of weight and services available to the country of destination. Regular untracked airmail is only offered as an option to certain countries; for othere we have to use a tracked courier service to guarantee safe delivery. To determine precise charges and services available, you can add items to your basket and click "Estimate Shipping" according to destination, without having to register or log on and proceed any further through the checkout process.
In the UK, you can choose from the following delivery methods:
1st Class (Royal Mail or 24 hour courier at higher weights) - delivery usually in 1-2 working days
2nd Class (Royal Mail or 48 hour courier at higher weights) - delivery usually in 3-4 working days
You can also choose NO SHIPPING: Collect from our London Bookshop and pick up your order from our London shop for free (we'll contact you to let you know when it's ready). Click here for more information on how to find the shop.
Please add an additional 2 business days to these estimated times when ordering print on demand titles.

Items in stock will normally be despatched within one working day of receipt of your order (normally on the same day if placed before 1pm GMT). Print on demand titles will be manufactured and despatched - under separate cover, if ordered together with in-stock items - within 2 business days. There is no additional charge for split shipments; our rates remain the same as when everything is sent in one consignment.
We do not send out orders after 4.30pm Monday to Friday, or on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. We will inform you by mail if goods ordered are temporarily out of stock, in which case they will follow as soon as available (please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information on when items are expected back in stock). We will also inform you by email if goods ordered are out of print or currently unavailable, in which case an outstanding order, or part order, may be cancelled upon request and a refund will be issued.
WHERE'S MY ORDER?
Because delays beyond our control, albeit rare, occasionally occur within the postal services, we ask UK customers to allow up to 7 days for delivery, although the great majority of orders will arrive within the estimated times given above. Likewise, overseas customers should allow 14 days for delivery as standard, but delivery will normally be much quicker to most destinations.
